British Asian Trust

In collaboration with The Real Elephant Collective and the British Asian Trust, we developed a willow-woven elephant sculpture that can be produced here in the UK.

The Real Elephant Collective is a socio-environmental enterprise bringing together art and conservation to raise awareness of coexistence between humans and nature. Their remarkable elephant sculptures are crafted from lantana, an invasive plant in India, and travel across the globe to share this important message.

Through our collaboration, elephants based in the UK can now be re-clad in sustainably grown British willow as the original lantana weaving naturally biodegrades, extending the life of these sculptures and their conservation message.
