Welcome to Willow with Roots. By using our website or purchasing our products, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before placing an order.

1. About Us

Willow with Roots is a UK-based willow weaving studio specialising in handmade willow products, sculptural pieces and bespoke commissions.

2. Our Products

All our products are handmade using traditional willow weaving techniques and natural materials.

As willow is a natural material, variations in colour, texture, shape and finish are to be expected. These characteristics make each piece unique and are part of the beauty of handmade work.

We make every effort to ensure product photographs, descriptions and measurements are accurate.

However, slight variations may occur. Sizes might change within 25mm.

These variations do not affect your statutory rights where a product is faulty or does not match its description.

3. Pricing & Payments

All prices are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable, unless clearly stated otherwise.

Delivery costs are calculated and displayed before checkout.

We reserve the right to change product prices at any time. Changes will not affect orders already accepted.

Payments are processed securely through the payment providers available on our Wix website.

4. Placing an Order

When you place an order, you will receive an email confirming that we have received it.

We will confirm acceptance of your order when we send a dispatch confirmation.

If we are unable to fulfil your order due to an unexpected stock issue, pricing error or other reasonable circumstances, we will contact you and arrange a full refund of any payment taken.

5. Delivery

We aim to prepare and dispatch orders within the timescales stated on our website or individual product listings.

Delivery times are estimates unless a specific delivery date has been agreed.

We are not responsible for delays outside our reasonable control, but we will keep you informed of significant delays.

For consumer purchases, goods remain our responsibility until delivered to you or someone you have nominated to receive them, except where you independently arrange a carrier not offered by us.

6. Returns & Refunds

We hope you are delighted with your purchase.

For most ready-made products purchased online, you have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason.

Please refer to our separate Returns & Refunds Policy for full details of how to cancel, return items and receive refunds.

Your statutory rights regarding faulty or misdescribed goods are unaffected.

7. Bespoke Commissions

When we undertake bespoke commissions and custom-made pieces, each commission will be discussed and agreed individually, including design, materials, price, payment schedule and estimated completion date.

A deposit may be required before work begins. Any deposit and cancellation terms will be clearly agreed in writing before payment.

Items made to a customer's personal specifications or clearly personalised are generally exempt from the usual 14-day change-of-mind cancellation right.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

8. Care of Willow Products

Willow is a natural material that responds to its environment.

To preserve the condition of your piece, please follow any care instructions provided with your purchase.

Unless specifically designed for outdoor use, willow products should be kept in suitable indoor conditions and protected from prolonged moisture and extreme environmental conditions.

We cannot accept responsibility for damage resulting from misuse or failure to follow supplied care instructions. This does not affect your statutory rights.

9. Intellectual Property

All original designs, photographs, written content and artwork displayed on this website belong to Willow with Roots or their respective copyright owners.

You may not reproduce, distribute or commercially use our original content without permission from the relevant rights holder.

Purchasing a product does not transfer any intellectual property rights in its design.

10. Website Use

You agree to use our website lawfully and not to interfere with its security or functionality.

We aim to keep the website accurate and accessible but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access at all times.

11. Privacy

We respect your privacy and handle personal information in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation.

12. Liability

We are responsible for losses caused by our breach of these terms where those losses were reasonably foreseeable.

We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or breach of your statutory consumer rights.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

Any changes will apply to future orders and will not alter the terms of purchases already accepted.

14. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK, you retain any mandatory legal protections available to you in your home jurisdiction.
