 2024 A perfectly square basket is held in high esteem amongst both profession and enthusiastic weavers often taking many attempts to achieve. On this Lunch Bag Course we will be using a Catalan way of building which shortens the frustrating journey to square perfection. This project is featured in my book, Willow, which is aimed at the newcomer to basketmaking. Once the framework is assembled the piece offers the opportunity to enjoy the pleasure of weaving a variety of colour and pattern using an abundance of our home grown willow. This includes all materials, tools and homemade lunch and cake. Take home material available to complete projects. The Garden Room, Netherwood Estate.
